This is God’s table. This is not my table, or your table, or the table of the United Church of Canada. It is God who invites each of us to this table and it is our understand-ing that nothing stands as a barrier between anyone of us and God when we desire to be at this table. Whether you are a member or not, no matter what your age, or life circumstance, no mater what you have made of your life or life has made of you, you are welcome at this table unconditionally and it is God makes the invitation.

Yet more than this God invites us to take the symbols of God’s table to every table of our lives. Whether it is our kitchen table or our work table, our classroom table or our bank table, our bar table or voting booth table, we asked to extend the unconditional love and acceptance that God offers each of us, to all we meet in life.
